Castaway Dreams sits on almost two acres of pristine Caribbean property with views of Buck Island and the turquoise waters below. This is 10000 square feet of luxury where 20 people can spread out and actually have space.
Six bedroom suites, each with its own king bed, full bathroom, and air conditioning. Four of those rooms also have queen sofa beds. Every room gets plush linens and oversized pillows. You'll sleep better here than you do at home.
The renovated sugar mill might be the coolest part of the property. Two stories with a giant spiral staircase, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower, and a bar that holds plenty of wine. Upstairs there's a rum barrel poker table with six chairs. The mill connects via stairs to the full size tennis and pickleball court. Rackets are already there waiting.
The game room has a 90 inch flat screen, Xbox, air hockey, foosball, pinball machine, and a sauna. Fast wifi throughout means everyone stays connected when they want to be.
The kitchen was recently updated with double self cleaning ovens, new stove, ice maker, and high grade cookware. The dining table is an 18 foot mahogany slab, three inches thick, seating 15 people. You'll eat dinner watching thousands of lights twinkle across the marina.
Outside you've got both a Traeger pellet smoker and propane grill. Beach towels and a cooler are provided for beach trips.
This property works for destination weddings with the ocean as your backdrop, executive retreats where your team needs to think bigger, or milestone family celebrations where three generations finally get together.
The deck sits three stories up. The pool has no barricades. This isn't childproofed, so families with very young kids should plan accordingly.
All events like weddings and large reunions or cooperate events must get prior approval and will have an event fee which must be paid prior to accessing property.

Rental Directions: 1. Exit the airport onto the main road (you'll be on the south side of the island) and drive towards Christiansted.2. Stay on the main road heading East/Northeast towards Christiansted and the East End of the island. Look for East End Road or Route 82. 3. Head East out of Christiansted and follow the signs for Green Cay Marina and Tamarind Reef Resort. 4. Turn into the neighborhood when you see a sign (or entrance) for "Tamarind Reef/Green Cay Marina". There's a small guard-shack entrance. 5. Turn left at Spicewood Road. Take your next left and as the road splits, stay on the right hand. The road ends at the gate.

Notes
Any special events, including but not limited to weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, conferences, parties, or gatherings exceeding the maximum occupancy stated in this Agreement, must receive prior written approval from the Landlord or Property Manager at least [30] days in advance of the scheduled event.
Approved events are subject to the following conditions:
1. Event Fee: An event fee of $3000 will be charged for each approved event, payable prior to the event date. This fee covers additional wear and tear, utilities, and administrative costs associated with hosting events on the premises and includes seating for up to 100 guests.
2. Capacity and Duration: All events must comply with local occupancy limits and noise ordinances. Event hours must be specified in the approval request and strictly adhered to.
3. Parking and Access: Adequate parking arrangements must be made to avoid disruption to neighboring properties.
Failure to obtain advance approval for events may result in immediate termination of this Agreement, forfeiture of the security deposit, and assessment of unauthorized event fees. The property manager reserves the right to deny any event request at their sole discretion.

Totally loved the spaciousness of each bedroom suite. Gave all of us our own ample private space. Great room is massive and was great to gather and play games. Absolutely the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we have ever had (there have been many) every utensil, tool, dish or pan you could ask for - as well as small appliances! The pool absolutely awesome. The deck and outdoor areas massive! So very pleased with this property! No complaints just be island happy and enjoy!

Wonderful property and location. Rooms are all surprisingly large. Every amenity you need. Great for multiple couples or families. Easy walk to local bar and restaurant. A Perfect Getaway
First off, the location - Host provides instructions to get to the house. Use them because the property is large and if you follow google it will take you to the wrong side. It is a GREAT location, you can get to Point Udall to catch the first sunrise in the US, or motor to Christiansted for a variety of great bars and restaurants which is 10 minutes away. Several grocery stores are close. It is a very quiet area, we heard absolutely nobody from neighboring houses the whole time there. The house itself is exactly what is depicted. None of the pictures are of a shared resort kinda thing. The tennis courts, workout room etc are all part of this private house. The Sugar Mill is very cool and has an upstairs little circular room where we played family games etc. Bring a blue tooth speaker. The kitchen is very well stocked, it has the nicest knife set you will ever see in a rental. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very large. The most important part of this house is the management. In a place this large, minor things invariably happen, a loose doorknob, a wasp nest by a door. We called the host and everything was immediately resolved. That is peace of mind for the renter! Definitely recommend this place and when we come back this would definitely be our place of choice.
Beautiful property with so much space!
Castaway Dreams is in a lovely community in a wonderful and convenient location. Close to Christiansted and several beaches. When we first arrived everyone was so excited to explore the property and the rooms. All of the rooms are so spacious and nicely spread out. There are so many wonderful spaces to gather as a group but also plenty of privacy as well. The great room and couch are just lovely! We did have an issue with AC not working in the bedroom in the main house starting the second night. The host was very responsive and had a repair company out several times but unfortunately it was not able to be fixed during our stay. The evening before and morning of our departure we had issues with the toilets in the same bedroom and the half bath in the main area. We let James know and he said he would have plumber out as soon as he could. I'm sure these things have been addressed and while inconvenient, overall we still had a lovely stay. We had been expecting a gym but came right in the middle of the change to a game room that now looks to be complete. The listing has been updated to reflect some changes that have already happened since our stay including pull out sofa beds and a boat! Having beach towels and cooler is such a thoughtful touch and great convenience as well. We would love to stay at this property again in the future if we come with a large group.

Castaway Dreams Villa is a beautiful villa with GORGEOUS views. The pictures don't do it justice. Location is great!!! I loved the peace and privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a variety of seasonings. The villa is just a short drive from restaurants and The Boardwalk. The property manager was very responsive to my emails. The only problem I had with the villa is that the maintenance is somewhat lacking. One of the doors did not have a latch and we had to prop a chair against the door to keep the wind from blowing it open. A couple of the other doors did not lock. Although we were in a very safe neighborhood, I was a little worried because my bedroom was separate from the others. Also the grass around the sugar mill and tennis court was not cut. I did not contact the property manager about the doors because the previous renters had included it on a list they had left.
Great week in this massive house!
This home on Spicewood Road was great! Beautiful views of the ocean and the marina. I never know if I should believe the sleeping arrangement listed on sites like VRBO but this house legitimately has 6 massive rooms with king beds and several pull out couches an awesome game room (air hockey, foosball, pinball, etc). There was an entire team involved in helping us through the week (Althea - house care; Carl - boat captain). It was just a very pleasant host experience. The air conditioning in one of the rooms did not work (room 6) but it was only because they couldn’t get the part in time after we notified Althea. Everything else worked great (and with a house this big there is always something that likely needs fixing)! The boat and captain were great. The pool was clean and cool. The main living area kitchen could easily fit 15-20 people. We are also big tennis players and were pleasantly surprised by the very good condition of the hard tennis court. All we had to do was quickly tighten up the net a bit and it was ready to go - bring your own rackets though if you are serious tennis players! The sugar mill bar was a nice touch too. It’s immaculate! I can’t imagine how much it cost to restore this sugar mill, but it was very nice and the upstairs portion is ideal for a sunset game of poker with 6 friends. We only took 8 people (4 adults and 4 children) and we could have had way more! 5-stars!!!
Truly unique affordable private resort
We are lucky enough to travel frequently, and it is not often I am motivated to leave a review. This property is fantastic! It begins with the excellent property manager communication. Once on site, in a place this big, there are always details. The property manager responded, almost instantly even after hours inquiries. The pictures are accurate you do have a private tennis court with paddles and balls and a beautifully restored, private sugar mill. This property is ideally located, the rooms are huge, the spaces, very clean and comfortable, best equipped kitchen I’ve ever encountered. This rates as one of our most enjoyable family vacations ever. The pool is a great size, the patio area is perfect, and you wake up every morning to, a gorgeous island sunrise. Pro tip: you may want to consider getting a private chef, because you really don’t want to leave! We had one for a fantastic three course dinner, and it was magical.

this is an amazing property. This is my second stay in 3 years and the new owners have put in the time and money to really improve the property! We had great communication before and during our stay. It was better than the pictures. The rooms are very large, beds are comfortable, pool is great. Kitchen is very well appointed, and it even has a Traeger grille. the sugar mill is a nice touch. the view from the porch is one of the best on the island. water pressure in shower is weak but that is to be expected on island. Wonderful experience!
Our family of nine came to celebrate a major birthday and very much enjoyed our stay here. It is easy to love a place with private pool and tennis court. Responses from owners were impressively prompt when we had a question. The only real issue was that the bedroom on the lowest level was difficult to cool.
