GoBono Booking Terms & Guest Policies

GoBono Rentals LLC ("GoBono," "we," "our," or "us") manages a collection of luxury vacation properties on behalf of their respective owners. These Booking Terms & Guest Policies ("Terms") outline the agreement between you, the guest ("Guest," "you," or "your"), and the property owner for any booking made through our website, Lodgify, VRBO, Airbnb, or other GoBono-affiliated platforms.

By completing a reservation, you agree to comply with these Terms and any property-specific rules provided prior to check-in.

1. Contract of Hire

GoBono acts as a property management company on behalf of the property owners. When you make a reservation, you are entering into a rental agreement with the owner of the specific property you've booked, with GoBono facilitating the reservation, payment, and guest communication.

The rental agreement is valid only for vacation or short-term rental purposes. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to make a booking and must be present during the stay.

2. Payments & Deposits

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of an initial deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due before check-in.
Payment methods may include credit card, debit card, or other secure options processed through Lodgify or Stripe.
A government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card or cash deposit may be required at check-in to cover incidental charges or potential damages.
If the required payment or identification is not received, GoBono reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

All reservations are non-refundable once confirmed. Guests who cancel, arrive late, or depart early will not receive a refund.
GoBono may, at its sole discretion, consider issuing partial credits or rescheduling options for extenuating circumstances.
We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected events such as illness, weather disruptions, or flight cancellations.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in time: 4:00 PM
Check-out time: 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be available by request and are subject to approval and additional fees. Check-in instructions will be provided before your arrival.

Guests must vacate the property by the stated check-out time to allow for housekeeping and preparation for the next guest.

5. Guest Conduct & Property Use

Guests agree to use the property respectfully and for residential purposes only.

The following policies apply at all GoBono properties:

No pets are permitted unless explicitly stated otherwise in the property listing.
No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings are allowed.
No smoking or vaping inside any property.
The maximum number of guests allowed is limited to the occupancy listed on the booking confirmation.

GoBono reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund if these rules are violated.

6. Amenities & Guest Responsibility

Some GoBono properties may include amenities such as pools, hot tubs, fire pits, watercraft, or outdoor equipment.
All amenities are used at the guest's own risk. Guests assume responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of all on-site facilities and equipment.
GoBono and property owners are not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal property that occur during your stay.

7. Cleaning & Maintenance

A standard cleaning fee is included in your booking cost.
Guests are expected to maintain reasonable cleanliness during their stay and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Additional cleaning or damages caused by misuse, excessive mess, or negligence may result in additional charges applied to the guest's card on file.

8. Damages & Security Deposits

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during their stay.
A credit/debit card, cash deposit, or Lodgify security deposit may be used to cover such incidents.
If damages exceed the deposit amount, guests will be charged the additional costs.
Failure to report damages may result in loss of deposit and additional penalties.

9. Availability & Property Substitution

In the rare event that a reserved property becomes unavailable due to maintenance issues, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond GoBono's control, GoBono will make reasonable efforts to offer comparable alternative accommodations.
If a suitable alternative is not available, a full refund will be issued. This will be the limit of GoBono's and the property owner's liability.

10. Complaints & Guest Support

If any issue arises during your stay, please contact GoBono immediately so we can address it promptly.
Complaints made after check-out cannot be considered, as we must have the opportunity to inspect and resolve any issue during your stay.

11. Legal Framework

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the property is located (Colorado or U.S. Virgin Islands).
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be handled in the local courts or through small claims, following an attempt at informal mediation or resolution with GoBono.

12. Data Protection

Guest information is collected and processed in accordance with GoBono's Privacy Policy, available on our website.
By booking with GoBono, you consent to the use of your data for reservation processing, guest communication, and essential operational purposes.

13. Travel Insurance

All bookings are non-refundable. GoBono recommends that guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, interruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting payment and completing a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Guest Policies.
